James Matthew Wilson, Sr., age 40, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. He was born in Wilmington, DE on November 30, 1979 to Kenneth Herstine Wilson, Sr. and the late Mary Kathleen (Edwards) Wilson.
James was a skilled General Contractor. He had a great sense of humor and loved cracking jokes or playing pranks. James took great joy in reading and playing video games. He will be dearly missed.
James is survived by his father, Kenneth Wilson, Sr. and his wife, Diane; children, James Wilson, Jr. and Michael Wilson; brother, Kenny Wilson, Jr.; sister, Christina Joy Watson; and step-brother, Rick Foley. In addition to his mother, James is preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward C. Wilson; grandmother, Ethel Wilson; uncle, Edward “Gene” Wilson; and step-brother, Michael Foley.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James’ honor may be made payable to “Sunday Breakfast Mission” and send in care of R.T. Foard and Jones, 122 W. Main St. Newark, DE 19711.
