My tribute to Hunter my loving son:
What can I say about my son Hunter? He was a loner but not with me, with me he was my best friend and confidant. He was such a loving child with a big grin always plastered on his face ready to do anything new and fun. My sister even bought a little wooden figure and said it was Hunter and me because we were like two peas in a pod.
He grew up so fast, before I knew it he was a young man. He had always had a fascination with Thailand and I had seen a tour so off we went, Hunter and I, my sister Donna and her husband Nicholas. We had a wonderful time although I broke my foot on the first day (unbeknownst to me) and hobbled around for the next 2 ½ weeks but he would go get me ice every night and help me around and was such a doting son.
He was always interested in cooking but more so Thai food on our return. He would send me recipes and ask if I could make this and I would give it a go and later say its time you started trying this and he did. He became a very accomplished cook, especially for soups.
He was a real a beer connoisseur and loved trying all the new brews that were coming on the market and would try to explain to me the differences in the hops and taste which I never fully understood.
I loved Hunter more than I can ever express here and he was my life. I’m so empty without him and keep waiting for him to walk through the door. I’ve only talked about so small a part of his life and he was so much more and could have accomplished so much but we’ll never know.
I’m hoping he is at peace now and one day I’ll see him again but until then my mother and his Mom Mom Aylene along with all his other family who have passed before him will take him into their angel arms and love him.
Hunter if you can hear me I love you with all my being and always will. You will never be far from my heart and I will miss you forever. You will always be my precious son.
