Dear Pat and family, We met Jim at Steamboat Landing many years ago. As our boys grew up around him , they all came to know him as Capt. Jim. He taught them how to fish and crab and was a very comforting figure as they grew up on the Delaware Beaches. Many times you could find one or all of our boys on his boat on a daily fishing trip. As they grew older they would bring some friends with them and everyone knew Capt. Jim. Dinner time was special at Steamboat Landing as we would make our dinner from what we caught that day. Some days we had fish, other days we had whatever we brought with us. Whenever you needed help, Capt. Jim was there , whether you needed to borrow a wrench or a meter read to diagnose the problem, Capt. Jim was there. Our entire family will miss him as he was such a large part of our family growing up. God Bless your entire family. The Rapp Family, Randy, Cindy, Ryan, Brandon, and Jordan.
