I am going to miss a person like this, besides the fact that he raised my mother and he was like a father to my mom. There was nothing else in this world she loved more than her Uncle Jim.... We all loved him for who he was. He will always be a part of us and will always be in our hearts... We love you Jimmy.....

Jim, you mean the world to me. I let you know how much I loved you every time I got the chance. You took us in, you helped our family as much as you could, and though you never said it, you showed us how much you loved us. You will always hold a very special place in my heart. A part of me died when I found out you were in the hospital, and the rest of me got ripped to shreds when I found out you passed away. I love you and miss you with all of my heart. I'd do anything to see you just one more time.

When I was a little girl mom-mom watched me while mom worked. I remember you taking me to Stony's store for ice cream when I was feeling sad. You were a wonderful, loving uncle to me, and it makes me feel lonely at your passing. I will always have these precious memories of you. I love you Uncle Jamesie.

I would like to pass along my condolences to James loved ones. He and his siblings visited at our homeplace when we were growing up. He always seemed to be a good, quiet, hard working man. I was employed at Aberdeen Proving Ground during his employment there. His brother, Kenny, married my sister, Deane Truslow.
