James E. Duff, Jr. (Jimmy), passed away suddenly on July 16, 2015.
Born in Elkton, MD on October 5, 1972, Jimmy was the son of Michele Taylor and the late James E. Duff, Sr. He worked in the construction trade and enjoyed riding motorcycles and being on the water. Those who knew him remember him as a “free spirit” and a very generous man. He was above all, a good father and a devoted grandfather.
In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Shelby Dowdy of Elkton; his son, Jay Duff, of Elkton; and his granddaughter Lillian Morley. He also leaves behind his grandmother Helen Caleb of Chesapeake City; his brother David Soots of North Carolina, his sister Brandy Moore of Elkton and his first love and the love of his life, Bridgett Marie Dowdy.
A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 on Thursday July 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 6:00.
