I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I can remember coming to Nancy's party at your beautiful home and how proud you both were! When Anne Tolbert called me to let me know of Jim's passing. Gail, I am so sad and wish there was something I could say to make your pain go way.....I will not be able to attend Jim's service to give you a BIG HUG, as I am on route to come to Maryland from Florida. Please know how much I care and how much you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of each other. God Bless! Love Bertie

Jim worked with my brother at APG Fire Department, I remember him from when I went out on Post to see Bubba (Tom Stanford) and also on calls that APG responded on off post, I rode with Abingdon Fire Company. He always had a smile and like to joke around with us, I'm sorry for your lost. I know what it's like to lose a loved one. Bubba pasted away in October, he talked good about Jim and all the other Brother Fire Fighters he worked with. My thoughts and prayers are with you, he won't be forgotten. Sincerely Mike Stanford

Uncle Dorman I am so sorry to hear about the death of your son. As you know years ago I lost my son Danny, from an overdose. I just can't express how devastating it was to lose him, so I know how you feel. Also I know it doesn't diminish the sadness the rest of the family must feel. In time it does get better, but we never get use to the hole in our heart. My prayers are with you all. Don't forget our God is good all the time! Much love to all!
