I have the fondest of memories of Camp Horseshoe because of Jimmy. He was a friendly and larger than life presence with tireless support of his grandson and BSA. He is missed.
Yours in Scouting,
Becky Ekins
Our deepest condolences on JJs passing. We were neighbors for just one year but JJ was the first person to welcome us. He pulled our boys into the scouts and took them under his wing. We hold you dearly in our hearts always.
God Bless,

You fought hard and God saw you were tired. He took you from us so you could rest. We miss you so much. Sharon is in our hearts and prayers daily , I know you are with Andrew .

P.S. Say hello to Shawn.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of jimmy. Being a fellow firefighter and friend of jimmy I took this as a shock. While it has been years since I have seen him, I will never forget him giving me a hard time and many of life lessons while at camp. He's helped me a lot on my progress to eagle and road to becoming the man I am today. I truly believe jimmy lived off the idea of if tomorrow wasn't a promise, what would you give for today. He was a great man and a great friend!
