J. Rene L. Savoie, 75, of Rising Sun, MD passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2014.
Born January 1, 1939 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Rene was the son of the late Edmond and Florence Savoie. Rene loved spending time outdoors and particularly enjoyed fishing and horses. He was a very spiritual man who cherished his time spent with this family especially with his grandchildren.
Rene is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ruth G. Savoie; son, Joseph Lewis Savoie and his wife, Noel; daughter, Ann Marie Cather and her husband, William I. Cather, III; and three grandchildren, Hailey, Makayla, and Reagan.
Services will be held privately and at the family’s convenience.
