Isabelle Marie Hickman of Elkton, MD, age 84, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020. She was born on December 9, 1935 in Emmerton, MD to the late James Edward Burton and Annabelle (Hamann) Burton.
Isabelle was a former member of the Red Hat Society and a lifelong Elvis Presley fan. She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and loved to go shopping at thrift stores. Isabelle found her greatest joy in spending time with her family.
Isabelle is survived by her son, Wayne “Joey” Hickman and his wife, Nancy of New Freedom, PA; two daughters: Tracy Ward of Baltimore, MD and Lisa Twigg and her husband, Tony of Elkton, MD; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and friend, Rita Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hickman, Sr. and companion, John Meddings.
Services for Isabelle will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
