Isabelle E. Nazelrod, age 74, of Rising Sun, MD passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2017. Born on March 24, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, Isabelle was the daughter of the late Onas W. Jansen, Sr. and the late Isabelle E. Jansen.
Isabelle was an animal lover. It did not matter what type of animal, she adored them all and was known to feed the wild birds and squirrels. She was a simple woman who cherished her time spent with her family, doting after her granddaughters.
Isabelle is survived by two sons: Thomas Renshaw and his wife, Jennifer of Rising Sun, MD and Charles Renshaw and his wife, Renee of Darlington, MD; daughter, Cynthia Renshaw of Stanford, CT; two granddaughters: Karyad Hallam, Summer Renshaw. Including her parents, Isabelle was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Nazelrod.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Thank you to Tom and Jenn for providing a loving home for Issie for nearly 10 years. What a beautiful safe place she had to appreciate nature and reflect on her fond memories of her late husband! She told me 2 weeks before that she felt her life was complete and that she was ready to join her spiritual family. I will never forget the tenderness between mother and son as Tom was assisting her. She was in a loving home and strong and clear as she said her final farewell to friends. Let us cherish all our days remaining before we see her and Belle, Onas, Eddie, Eileen, Butch, Rich and the other hundreds of Jansens again on the other side. So proud of Tom and so was she. The depth of his love and dedication to her care brought her to tears. Although it may be a loss for us, the landscaping and animals in heaven will surely be happy to see her.

I was Isabelle's sister in law for a number of years. We didn't see each other often, but we were friends. I pray that she is at peace now, and thankful that she is no longer suffering. I know that she loved her children and grandchildren, and I pray for each of you and your loss. Our savior makes no mistakes.
