Ian Paul Kelly Tabor went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. He was born in England on August 2, 1944, the son of the late Joyce (Chapman) Tabor and Paul Kelly Tabor. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea and Germany.
Ian is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra Joan Tabor, who stood by his side through all of life’s joys and challenges. Together, they raised a beautiful family: their sons, Edward Tabor (married to Katie Tabor), Daniel Tabor, Jonathan Tabor (married to Melissa Tabor), Benjamin Tabor, and their daughter, Karen Gillis. Ian was also a proud and doting grandfather to Easton Gillis, Emily Tabor, Abigail Tabor, Allison Tabor, Jonathan Tabor, Charlotte Tabor, Emma Tabor, and Lauren Donicker.
Ian’s life was a testament to his faith and his love for the Lord. He found joy in woodworking, a craft that allowed him to create with his hands and express his creativity. But above all, Ian loved to spoil his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. His smile could light up a room and will be remembered by all who knew him.
Ian’s life was a blessing, and his memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to his family and friends.
