Howard James Holley of North East, MD, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was born on January 8, 1958 in Pottsville, PA to the late James B. Holley and Florence E. (Snyder) Holley.

Howard was a plant operator at the former Maryland Materials for 31 years. He loved hunting, music of all types and played the drums. Howard also enjoyed passing peaceful time watching birds and other wildlife.

Howard is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sherry Lynn Holley of North East, MD, son, James Holley of North East, MD, three sisters: Bernadine J. Eva of Elkton, MD, Yvonne M. Holley of Wilmington, DE and Geraldine A. Holley of Elkton, MD; brother, Roland B. Holley and his wife Suzanne of Elkton, MD, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service in Howard’s honor will be held at 8 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921. Family and friends may begin visiting at 6 PM.
