Henry Aaron Frese, 96, of Elkton, MD, passed away May 10, 2014 at Laurelwood Care Center,
Born on December 15, 1917, Henry was the son of the late Aaron and Minnie Horner Frese. He was a Seabee during the Second World War and was awarded the Purple Heart. After his discharge, he worked for Kerr Construction/Home Building as a carpenter. He was an active member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Collingbrook Union Church, serving on the Property Committee and was always willing to serve his church. He loved building and designing labor saving devices, boating, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a son, Gregory A. Frese and his wife Linda of West Chester, PA; two daughters, Dorothea Frese MacLaughlin and her husband Bruce of Whitehall, PA and Deborah Sue MacDowell and her husband Stan of Orlando, FL: six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He also leave behind a brother, Winston Frese and his wife Civita. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dorothea A. Frese who died in 2011, and his brother Norman.
A service honoring his life will be held at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 24 Cameron Road, North east, MD 21901 on Friday May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church c/o R.T.
