Helen L. Litwa, age 65, of Newark, Delaware passed away peacefully on Thursday February 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born October 28, 1949 in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Doris (MacDonald) Farren.
Helen grew up in Upper Chichester, and devoted her life to her family and to serving people with disabilities.
She was the devoted mother of Susan Mitchell, son in law Kevin Mitchell, and her granddaughter Courtney Mitchell, was the love of her life. She is also survived by brothers, George Farren and John Farren, and sisters, Irene Vitarelli and Tammy Farren. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and by her best friend Anne Laird.
She was predeceased by her sister in law and friend Marianne Farren.
