Heidi B. Ross, age 85, of Oxford, PA, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020. She was born on October 17, 1934 in Zurich, Switzerland to the late Emil Lenzin and Anna Lenzin.
Heidi was born a traveler. She traveled back and forth visiting family and friends in Switzerland. She loved her children and grandchildren and was always encouraging them to try new things and travel to new places. Heidi continued to work and never really retired. As late as December of last year she worked as an online tutor helping students in Japan learn to write English. Heidi lived by her favorite quote “You’re never too old to reinvent yourself.” She had a love for animals especially her cockapoo Frannie.
Heidi is survived by her sons: Tommy Ross and his wife Valerie of Oxford, PA; Jim Ross of West Chester, PA; daughter, Katherine Ross of Philadelphia, PA; son, John Ross and wife Sarae of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren: Francesca Kurtz-Ross, Jake Ross, James Ross, Colleen Ross and Kinneth Ross.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Delaware Hospice” and sent in care of the funeral home.
