This is truly a sad time for me. Norman was a great friend and I always looked to him for advice on both legal and personal matters. My condolences and he will be greatly missed. I hope that the time will not be distant when you will remember him with a smile instead of a tear.

Debbie-I lived with Norm during our first year of law school and we kept in touch from time to time when I had a legal matter in Cecil County or environs and he when he had a matter on the lower Eastern Sore. Even though our contacts were in connection with law he was also a friend. We kept up with one another through a mutual friend. Woody Stark of Harford County, also an attorney and my roommate in our fraternity. I have fond memories of the year we spent together. He was a great guy and a fine man. Ron Rayne P.S. He played for the Easton High School basketball team and I was on the Wicomico High team. We were at College Park during the same years and knew each other though he was a Sigma Chi and I was a Phi Sig

Dear Debbie, Cheri and family-
Words cannot express how saddened I am about the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and my dear friend - Norm. It has truly been an honor to have met him and work with him over the last few years. I know Norm and I were not close in age, nor knew each other long, but he was the type of guy that made you feel like a lifelong friend. I appreciated how he ALWAYS took time to talk with me whether it was calling, texting or just stopping by the office for a few minutes to catch up on politics, sports, news, etc. I really enjoyed listening to him speak about growing up on a farm on the eastern shore and his travels to University of MD and eventually, Elkton. Norm always talked about how much he loved and adored Debbie and Cheri. He was so grateful for them standing by him and helping him over the last few years. In addition, I know he loved all of his grandchildren with all of his heart and was so proud of their success. Heaven gained a dear friend and I will miss him. The last thing Norm said to me was See you my friend. I will never forget this. Norm- I will See you again my friend. Deepest Condolences- Steve Kunkel
