Guy Roy Sheffler III of Wilmington, DE, age 68, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019. He was born on December 3, 1950 in Wilmington, DE to the late Guy Roy Sheffler, Jr. and Betty (Bedford) McBride.
Guy worked as head of maintenance for a land development company in Wilmington, DE. He loved everything about Harley Davidson motorcycles, especially riding his. A true “Dead Head”, when asked to pick music Guy would always choose The Grateful Dead”. Guy loved the outdoors and Mother Nature, often going hiking, surfing in Fiji and traveling. Hummingbirds were a particular favorite of his, as he enjoyed their fast and smooth flight. Guy loved his dogs which were always by his side.
Services for Guy will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Guy’s honor may be made payable to “CompAnimals”, an animal rescue organization based in Landenberg, PA, and sent in care of R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711.

Guy aka Butch to my family. He was my brother, Mike's, best friend. At one time I believe in 66 or 67 he lived with us for a few weeks. Sadly lost contact. Seeing his obituary brings back good memories. A old friend & classmate. Sorry for the families loss.
