




Gregory Hysock, a vibrant soul beloved by many, passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on July 6, 1970, in Elkton, MD, he was the cherished son of Elizabeth Sharp, and the late John Hysock.
Greg’s journey began at Mt. Pleasant High School, where his zest for life and love for Heavy Metal Music first flourished. Though he pursued a career as a painter and construction worker in Delaware and Maryland, his heart resided in the rhythm and flow of Heavy Metal. With multiple guitars at his disposal, he embodied the spirit of a rock star, captivating those around him with his undeniable charisma.
Known for his carefree demeanor, Greg approached life with a contagious happiness, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of his loved ones, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Greg is survived by his wife, Kimberly Hysock, and his beloved son, Gregory Evan Hysock,. He is also survived by his mother, Elizabeth Sharp, his brother, Paul Hysock, and his step-mother, Ginny Hysock. In addition, he leaves behind his step-sister, Robin Lynn Warwick, and step-brothers, Brian and Joshua Foraker, along with nephews Paul John Hysock and Dean Hysock and multitude of friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Hysock; step-father, Benjamin Sharp.
In honoring Greg’s life, all services will be held privately. Though he may be physically absent, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
