Born January 14, 1936 in Wilmington, DE, Grayce was the daughter of the late John R. French, Sr. and the late Beatrice A. (Thomas) French.
Grayce was passionate about arts and crafts and was a very talented oil painter. She was also a self-taught cake decorator and made many cakes for her family throughout the years. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, spending time at Delaware Park, and playing cards on Saturday nights with her friends. She liked to go shopping and was known to dedicate some of her time to QVC. She loved traveling, especially going on cruises and her favorite dish was crabs. Her most cherished time however, was that spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she adored and was their “Nanny”. She was known to joke around and enjoyed putting a smile on everyone’s face. She is loved and will be missed dearly.
Grayce is survived by her two daughters: Diana Woodring (Clark) and Lisa Bracale (Dave); four grandchildren: Erin L. Davis (Michael), Clark E. Woodring IV, Alexa Bracale, and David Bracale; four great-grandchildren: Danica G. Davis, Ashton M. Davis, Clark E. Woodring V, and Emily M.
