Grace Butler Horn, 79, of Keene, NH, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away March 12, 2014 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH with her immediate family by her side.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 15, 1934, Grace was the daughter of the late George and Sophie Hillier. Grace was a wonderful Sister, Wife, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She enjoyed her career of 20 years as a bank teller at PSFS. Her customers held her in high regard and considered her to be highly professional. Her and Hal enjoyed years of boating on the Sassafras River and then golfing while living in Florida.
She is survived by her Son Darren and his wife Judy Horn of New Hampshire and Son Glenn Horn and his best friend Tammy Shaw of Dover Delaware, her grandchildren: Christine, Shannon, Amanda, Darren Jr, Ashley, Rebecca, Shea, Michael, Tyler, Ryan, Dustin & Allyson, her great grandchildren: Blake, Gracie, Ben, Emily, Kylee, Blake, Weston, Mia & Audrey, her brother George and wife Lois Hillier and sister Marion and husband Robert Morris, and her best friend Mushkum. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Howard who died in 2002 and her loving daughter Jacquelyn who died in 2012.
A service honoring her life will be held at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main St., Newark, DE 19711 on Thursday March 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10 am.
