Friday the 14th I lost my daughter. Our trip to see her and meet her fiancé ,see my grandson and his girl friend, was changed to something no parent wants. She will live in my heart till we meet again and tell each other how much we love each other and that hug and kiss will last for eternity! I love you Dad

I remember how quiet Gloria was in high school but that was if she didn't know you. As soon as you started talking to you she lit up and you couldn't help but feeling brighter yourself. I'm glad that we got a chance to talk again after so many years You'll be missed, my friend.

Way way back when, Gloria, myself and another friend went to see the classic movie, WITCHBOARD. For anyone that saw WITCHBOARD, it is not memorable. But that night was because I was not a horror fan. I actually hadn't seen more than 2 or 3 horror movies in my life. Anyway, I'm sitting next to Gloria in the theater and a really scary thing happened on the screen (at least scary for WITCHBOARD.) I grabbed her arm and nearly broke it. Nearly 30 years later, we still laughed about that. Rest In Peace, Gloria, you will be missed.

Janet Evanovich was my mom's favorite author. Stephanie Plum and the gang filled my mother's imagination for years. This time, Mom was picking up a new series with new plots and new characters. This was a time that I was able to go to a book signing in Trenton, NJ with her. She had been to a book signing before, but that did not inhibit her excitement to experience it again. I went to another with her and she convinced author Janet Evanovich to mail me a copy of her first book titled "One For the Money." Though not quite my kind of book, the humor and the setting gave Mom a few hours to escape into a world where she could forget about her medicine, her pain, and her stress. Thank you Janet Evanovich for providing my mom with so many hours of much deserved rest and entertainment.
