Gloria Ann Williams, age 90, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was born on September 28, 1930 in Baltimore, MD to the late Joshua Noyes and Catherine Rosabell (Siedel) Noyes.
Gloria worked at St. John Holy Angels in Newark, DE. She also a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Elkton, MD. In her youth, Gloria was known as a talented ice skater. Gloria loved traveling with her family throughout the United States and enjoyed camping. Some of her hobbies included adult coloring books, crossword puzzles, and painting ceramic dolls, especially the cabbage patch collectibles. Gloria was a huge fanatic of the Baltimore Ravens and followed all of their games. She will always be remembered for her good cooking, and recipes for her sour beef and goulash meals. Gloria will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Gloria is survived by her beloved husband of seventy-one years, David Paul Williams of Elkton, MD; son, Jeffrey Paul Williams and his wife, Debbie of Townsend, DE; daughter, Diane L. Ferrari and her husband, Dominic of Elkton, MD and Gail Marie Williams of Elkton, MD; fourteen grandchildren; and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her son, Michael Williams; and two brothers.
A celebration of Gloria Ann Williams’ life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Friends and family may begin visiting on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Rt. 213 Cherry Hill, MD.
