Glen Alan Bennett age, 63 passed away on August 14, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1959 in England to Glen Junior Bennett and the late Reva Mae (Shepard) Robinson.

Glen worked as a grounds man at Delaware Park. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his longtime girlfriend, Barbara. Glen loved animals and had two cats. He enjoyed watching football and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Glen is survived by his sister, Elaine Waters; companion, Barbara Christman; nieces: Heather Nicole Tharp and Amanda Marie Tharp; great nieces and great nephews: Ryan Nicholas Carre, Kamran Wayne Tharp, Ethan Hugh Knox, Aubrey Lillian Knox, and Eliana Rose Tharp; father, Glen Junior Bennett (Karen); and many cousins.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Glen’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 5-7 pm at R.T. Foard & Jones, 122 West Main Street Newark, DE 19711, Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “American Heart Association” or the “Delaware SPCA” and sent in the care of the funeral home.
