Geraline G. Devonshire, age 88, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at her home in Rising Sun, MD. She was born in Conowingo, MD on May 10, 1925 to the late Gwyn and Zelda (Graybeal) Goodman.
She is survived by her son Terry and his wife Robyn of Rising Sun, MD; three grandchildren, John Devonshire and wife Tracy of Galax, VA, Steve Devonshire and wife Bobbie of Sparta, NC, and Jennifer Holbrook-Kunkel and husband Shawn of Rising Sun, MD; brother Carson Goodman and wife Inell of Conowingo, MD; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband George R. “Bud” Devonshire in 1986 and son Ronald Devonshire in 2005.
A service will be held 3PM on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Conowingo Baptist Church, 151 Rock Springs Road, Conowingo, MD 21918. Friends and family may visit one hour prior beginning at 2PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contribution checks can be made to “Conowingo Baptist Church” and sent c/o R.T. Foard Funeral Home, PA, 111 S, Queen St., Rising Sun, MD 21911.
