Geraldine Alderman, age 81, of Cumberland, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was born on November 12, 1941 in Newark, DE to the late Joseph and Nora (Nichols) Devonshire.
Geraldine worked at University of Delaware in the Maintenance Department.
Geraldine is survived by her brother, Franklin Edwin Devonshire of Wilmington, DE; sister, Carolyn Devonshire of VA; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, William Alderman.
A viewing will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 PM at Hopewell Cemetery 1811 Hopewell Road, Port Deposit, MD 21904.
