Passed from this life on Monday January 6, 2025.
He is survived by his daughter Mildred Louise Castro (Honey)
He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Maria A. Castro-Walls, Martin H. Castro, and Sheila A. Castro, he is survived by his 10 Great grandchildren, and his Great Granddaughter.
Gerald is also survived by his sisters, Gladys Kline, Linda Cahall, Cathrine Coe, Mary Mackie, and Sharon Kester, and his brothers John Goodchild, Joseph Goodchild, and Kinsey Goodchild.  Gerald is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by all of his friends and family,  Until we meet again dad.
A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11 AM at R T Foard & Jones Funeral Home- 122 W Main Street, Newark, DE. The family will begin receiving friends at 10 AM. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery.
