Gerald Kenneth Greisemer (“Jerry”), age 81, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Born August 4, 1936 in Abington, PA, Jerry was the son of the late Clarence A. and Kathryn E. (Mitchell) Greisemer.
Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. He dedicated over twenty years of work at Fast Food Merchandising where he was a truck driver. He was a volunteer member of Green Lane Fire Company where he drove the fire trucks for several years. Jerry loved being outdoors, whether he was fishing, boating, camping or riding his motorcycle, he was most happy in nature. Jerry enjoyed the thrill of visiting the Casino and playing the lotto. His greatest joy was spending time meditating near the water.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Smith and her husband, Brian of Pennsburg, PA; son-in-law, E. Milton Ferguson, Jr. of Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Ian, Zachary and Alyssa and his sister, Patricia Radcliffe and her husband, Thomas of Lansdale, PA. Including his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Ferguson.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Jerry’s honor to a charity of your choice and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.
