Mr. George R. (Lovie) Williams, 89, of Chesapeake City, MD, died February 18, 2013 at Laurelwood Care Center.
Mr. Williams lived his life in Delaware and Chesapeake City, MD. He worked on the roads for the State of Maryland and also was a farmer. He loved hunting, fishing, his animals and being ornery, therefore the name Lovie. He was very loving and caring and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen J. Williams and is survived by his sister, Kathryn Lloyd Williams of Chesapeake City; his brother Henry Vincent Williams of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 318 George St., Chesapeake City, MD 21915 on Thursday February 21, 2013 at 11 am with a visitation at the funeral home beginning at 10. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Chesapeake City VFW c/o the funeral home.
