George Kenneth Orr, age 19, of Port Deposit, MD passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. Born in Elkton, MD on January 13, 1998, he was the son of Amelia L. Orr and step-son of Richard D. Hooiser.
George was a 2016 graduate of Perryville High School. He loved playing football, cooking, eating, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his girlfriend of 4 years, Jamie Nicole Blakeley of Port Deposit, MD.
In addition to his mother and step-father, George is survived by his aunt, Evelyn Susan Workman of Conowingo, MD; aunt, Brenda Joyce Schuman of Colora, MD; aunt, Ruth Ann Richardson of Conowingo, MD; girlfriend, Jamie Nicole Blakeley of Port Deposit; and numerous loving cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Melissa George Orr and grandmother Elizabeth Jane Hooiser.
A celebration of George’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. January 3, 2018 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911, where friends and family are welcomed to visit beginning at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to, gofundme.com/2fyrbw-how-time-has-past-gko. Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery in Port Deposit.
