Denise - So sorry to learn of Gary's passing. I have fond memories of our childhood when our families would get together in Salisbury and Ocean City. Gary was a man of great integrity and always a pleasure to be with. Although we lost touch as Cousins when my family moved to Atlanta, I always enjoyed getting life updates through Mary Ann ! My condolences to you and Charlotte and may God bless you and sustain you with great memories!

Denise, at times it seems that unhappy events overshadow the good. Remember the many excellent days that you and Gary shared together and you will be filled with only wonderful memories for the rest of time. I've known Gary since he became the carpentry instructor at CCST. We've attended many faculty meetings, served on numberous committees and spent many hours together waiting for buses. Bus duty is the time I really got to know him and learned a great deal from and about him . He was a very talented and complicated man. I have not seen Gary since my retirement, but always believed the world was a little better because Gary was part of us. Denise, be strong, as Gary would want, and continue to live while keeping the happy memories from your lives together in your memory.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My deepest sympathies to Gary's wife and family. Gary was a wonderful teacher and advocate for the teaching profession. His students bloomed under his direction and teaching. He served the Cecil County Classroom Teachers Association as a building rep and as a leader to others in our profession. Again, my sympathies in your time of loss.

Rest in peace my dear friend Gary. I always enjoyed our chats. The students were pretty lucky to have Gary as a teacher of carpentry. I live in FL now, but as Denise knows, I would be right beside her if I was still in DE.
