Frank Norman Muller, age 82 of Elkton, MD passed away on July 24, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 25, 1942 in Collingdale, PA to the late Harry Elmer Muller and Mildred Ella (Cochran) Muller.
Frank was an outdoorsman through and through. Growing up, he loved fishing and hunting. He hunted everything: deer, waterfowl, and big and small game. He passed his passion for the outdoors to his sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Frank enjoyed fishing with his sons and grandson on the Delaware Bay and local rivers. He was a very talented woodworker and had a shop in his home where he carved decoys and wooden toys, such as trucks, cars, and airplanes. He donated many of his toys and decoys to charities over the years which spread worldwide. Frank was a member of National Audubon Society and Ducks Unlimited. He volunteered at the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum and the Upper Bay Museum where he served on the board as Vice President and was a life long member. Frank was fascinated with Native American artifacts and enjoyed collecting items and attend Native American Pow Wows. In his later years, Frank enjoyed bird watching and being outdoors. Frank’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were his world. He enjoyed watching them play sports and attended all of their games.
Frank is survived by his sons: Jeffrey Muller and his wife, Pamela and Brian Muller and his wife, Patty; grandchildren: Brittany Smith and her husband, Thomas, Shane Muller and his wife, Whitney, and Leslie Deems and her husband, Matthew; and great grandchildren: Landon, Carter, Waylon, Trent, and Archer.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Mitchell) Muller and sister, Margaret Myers.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 12:00 PM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to “Upper Bay Museum” and sent in care of the funeral home: 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
