Frank A. Durham, 67, of Elkton, MD passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015.
Born September 4, 1947 in Elkton, MD, Frank was the son of the late Clifford R. Durham, Sr. and Matilda (Swanson) Durham. He was employed at the University of Delaware where he worked in the Custodial Maintenance Department until he retired in 1988. Frank greatly enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Carol L. Durham of Elkton, MD; son, Frank K. Durham of Perryville, MD; daughter, Shannon Cooper of Elkton, MD; sisters, Florence Wilson of Elkton, MD, Gloria Willen of Elkton, MD, and Grace Bonsall of Elkton, MD; and grandsons Ryan Rink of Elkton, MD, Jacob Durham of Elkton, MD, and Brandon Cooper, Jr. of Elkton, MD.
A memorial service for Frank will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 6 pm at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921 where friends and family may visit beginning at 5 pm. Memorial contributions may be made payable to Carol Durham for Frank’s grandchildren and sent in care to the funeral home.

Carol, Frankie, & Shannon When I received the news about your husband and Dad the first thing that came to my mind was that 1-800-Frank had made his final run. The sun shone bright at 6:50 A.M. that morning and I knew that Frank danced into Heaven. He was there for me, Cliff, and his nieces and nephew when we needed help. There was nothing he couldn't do or fix. He did it willingly and without complaint. He was quiet until he had enough nonsense then you would hear some zingers. Frank was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and friend. He will be missed but he left us a lot of happy memories. May your memories comfort you at this time. Thank you God for allowing Frank to be a part of our family for 33 years.
