Frances Mae Park, age 89 of Elkton, MD passed away on August 26, 2026. She was born on June 29, 1937 in Chester, PA to the late George Biddle Evans and Charlotte (Wagner) Rhoads.
Frances was a modest woman who enjoyed the little things in life. Frances enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She found great excitement in searching for yard sales and finding the best bargains, and then telling everyone about them. Frances was partial to most animals, especially later in life with her succession of cats all being named either Mr. or Mrs. Kitty. She also found peace in reading books with her favorite genres being mystery and western themed.
Frances is survived by her children: Eva Byerly and her husband Darrell, Jesse Park, Steven Park and his wife, Michele; grandchildren: Jessica and her husband Brandon, Brittany and her husband, Francisco, and Andrew; and one great grandchild: Kristi.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Galena Cemetery, 153 North Main Street, Galena, MD 21635.
