Faye Peters, age 75, passed away in Elkton, MD on March 10, 2019. She was born June 2, 1943 in Pembroke, VA to the late Raymond and Eva Martin.
Faye was a loving mother, sister, wife, aunt and friend. She was always up on her current events and the news. Faye was always family oriented. She also enjoyed gardening and loved spring time flowers.
Faye is survived by her son, Richard Peters and his wife Margaret; daughter, Kimberly Eder and her husband James; son, Robert Peters; grandsons, Isaac and Joshua Eder; granddaughter, Priscilla Peters; and sisters, Frances Langley, Mabel Sinkus and Kay Blevins. She is also survived by nephews, Eric Langley, Stanley Martin, Jamie Martin, and Craig Dehart; and nieces, Michele Eberherdt, Ashley Atkins Jones, Brandy Demick, Jennifer Perdue, and Marsha Perdue. In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband Robert Peters; brothers, Doug, Pete, Clinton, and Frank Martin; sisters, Ola Perdue and Carol Martin; nephews, Bryon Langley and David Perdue; and niece, Diane Martin.
A celebration of Faye’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends are being called to visit one hour prior on Saturday. Interment will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery, 1195 Firetower Road, Colora, MD 21917. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made payable to “The Epilepsy Foundation” and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
