I feel truly blessed to have known Fay. She was a mentor to me at the Bayard House and later became like family. I will never forget her, she has a little piece of my heart. I love you Michele and Jeff!

You always made my day worth it when I would have to drag myself to work. You were a beautiful Soul and I will miss your smile!

This is one of the hardest things I have to do in my life, saying goodby to my best friend of 30 years. How I would like to have one more day to go and do all the things that made us laugh, we always had such a good time. We always talked about her grandchildren, her great cooking, her fancy cakes, going to yard sales, going to the beach, out for dinner, or just talking about life, what heart aches she had to deal with, these are the things I will miss. So glad I had time to visit with her in the Hospital and give her a hug and tell her I loved her, and reassured her everything would be alright. Till we meet again my friend, I will always have a special place in my heart for you!

What I remember about Fay is her smile, her cheery nature, her warmth, and her kindness. She reminded me of her Aunt Naomi Bennett Ireland! Fay was loved.

Fay touched so many lives with her genuine love of people.I worked with Fay for close to 10 years, and she brought laughter, warmth, and caring to us all.She created a sense of family for all that worked with her and for the people she served in the restaurant.Everybody wanted Fay to take care of their table because she made them feel so very special. She remembered their names, what they liked to eat and drink, and she listened to them about their families and the things that were important to them. That is how she treated her co-workers as well. And her sons! Oh how she loved them! Her life was all about the kids, her grandchildren, her daughters-in-law.She never failed to make me laugh or to cheer me up if that was what she thought I needed. That is how she was with everybody that knew her.It was my privilege and honor to know her and to be called Friend,by Fay.It was my privilege to work with her and to know her heart of Gold.I feel profound sorrow that she is gone from this world, and my sincere condolences go out to her beloved Family. There are few in the world like her,and if she touched your life in some way-then you were a very fortunate person indeed.I keep you all in my heart.I keep YOU in my heart Fay.
