Eva M. Daicar, 74, passed away peacefully March 7, 2018 following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Eva was born on December 27, 1943 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.
Eva had a varied and successful career as a clinical psychologist at the Toronto General Hospital, in executive selection with the Government of Canada in Ottawa, as a psychologist with the Government of Alberta, Canada, as first Director of the Adult Day Care Center at the University of Delaware, in Outplacement management and counseling in the corporate sector in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and lastly as a psychologist and therapist in private practice before retirement. Eva is survived by her sister, Zdena, and a large extended family in Canada and her husband, Henry R. Glyde, in Newark, DE.
Full funeral service and burial will take place in Frankford, Ontario, Canada. A memorial service and celebration of Eva’s life will be held in Newark, date to be announced.
