









































Ethel L. Ritchie, 80, of Elkton, MD passed away Monday, September 1, 2014.
Born December 24, 1933 in Lincoln County, Mississippi, Ethel was the daughter of the late, Leslie O. Hart and Edna Tillman. She worked as a secretary at Local 80 Pipe Fitters and retired as a secretary from Delaware City Oil Refinery where she was loved by the crew and made many lifelong friends. Ethel was a member of the Delaware City M&C Club. She was a HUGE Elvis fan. She also enjoyed bowling, dining out, going to the movies, traveling and cooking. Everyone loved her cooking; she enjoyed making holiday dinners for her family and party dishes for her friends.
Ethel is survived by her two sons, Joseph Ritchie and his wife, Tina of New Castle, DE and Darrell Ritchie and his wife, Marilyn of New Castle, DE; two daughters, Leslie Murin and her husband, Kelly or Elkton, MD and Renee Smith of Summit, MS; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Joseph Ritchie and her later partner, Jesse Wooleyhan.
A family gathering will be held at the home of her daughter, Leslie Murin on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. All friends and family are welcome.
