Ercell L. Million, age 85 of Rising Sun, MD passed away on May 19, 2017. She was born on May 14, 1932 in Clark, MO to the late Carl W. Asbury and Zula M. (White) Asbury.
Ercell retired from C&P Telephone as a Telephone Operator after 27 years. As a wife of a career military husband, Ercell travelled throughout the world. She loved gardening and tending to her flower beds and enjoyed listening to country music. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
Ercell is survived by her sons: Carliss A. Million and his wife, Jennifer of Wilmington, DE and Vincent C. Million and his wife, Candace of Austin, TX; daughter, Denise M. Janney and her husband, Jake of Rising Sun, MD; and grandchildren: Ryan Janney, Beck Million, and Garrett Million.
In addition to her parents, Ercell is preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Million; daughter, Starla Ranae Million; brothers: Roy Asbury, Willie Asbury, Russell (Bud) Asbury, Clytis Asbury, and Sammie (Pete) Asbury; sisters: Willetta Bryce, Carlene Bartee, Clayton Browning, and Ruth Long; and grandson, Bradley Janney.
A graveside service for Ercell will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00AM at Friends Cemetery, 1 Brick Meetinghouse Road, Rising Sun, MD 21911. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to, “Dementia Society of America” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
