





Emma Nora “Sis” Gallagher, 81, of Earleville, MD went home to her Lord and Saviour Sunday, October 6, 2013.
Born February 20, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, Emma was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marie Greager. Emma enjoyed crocheting and she loved her pet dogs and butterflies. She cherished her time spent with her family and always made sure everyone was having a good time and had a smile on their face.
Emma is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James Gallagher of Earleville, MD; daughter, Pat Hickey and her husband, George of Millsboro, DE; son, Fran Christie and his wife, Dee of Georgetown, DE; daughter Regina Neary and her husband Ed of Coatsville, PA; sons, Jim Christie and his wife, Carol of Aston, PA and Joe Christie and his wife Kathleen of Sharon Hill, PA; daughters, Terry Sheaffer and her husband, Brad of Elkton, MD and Lori Cessario and her husband, Tom of Elkton, MD; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Clarence Greager, sisters, Flossie Hopkins and Lorraine Madden. Including her parents, Emma was also welcomed into Heaven by daughter, Emma Christie and her sister Agnes McGee.
A celebration of Emma’s life will be held privately amongst her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Activities Group at Genesis Elkton Center, 1 Price Drive, Elkton, MD 21921.
