Emma H. Drennen, age 77, of Elkton, MD passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born on October 21, 1940 in Wilmington, DE, Emma was the daughter of the late George Howard Ash and the late Marguerite J. (Bruce) Goodyear.
Emma was a talented artist and loved arts and crafts, painting and drawing. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, writing in her journal and being outdoors, especially working in her yard and fishing. Her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.
Emma is survived by her two sons: John Scott and his wife, Shelia and Raymond Scott and his wife, Rebecca; two daughters: Loretta Pinto and her husband, Tom and Joyce Boyce and her fiancé, Tom Hilderbrand; ten grandchildren: David, Jake, Joanna, Melissa, Brian, Amanda, Christopher, Thomas, Kenny, and Brandon; eight great grandchildren: Kaylee, Nicholas, Harper, Victor, Glovanna, Cameron, Brianna, and Marcus. She is also survived by three sisters: Thelma, Franny and Sandi; nephew, Ritchie Simpson and niece, Cathy Moseley. Including her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her son, Daniel and two sister: Marie and Eva.
Services will be held privately and at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “Seasons Hospice” and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 E. Main St., Elkton, MD 21921.
