Emily Goscinski Czarnecki, age 89 of Elkton, MD ended her journey of life on Friday, September 7, 2018. Born December 6, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, Emily was the daughter of the late Leon and Elizabeth (Novak) Goscinski.

Emily worked as a secretary for Graduate Admissions at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She took great pride in being able to help guide students as they aspired to achieve their goals. She was a long-time member of Immaculate Conception Church in Elkton, MD. Having an artistic eye, Emily enjoyed watercolor painting in her free time. She was a loving wife to her late husband, Dr. Edwin E. Czarnecki and wonder mother and grandmother not just to her family but to all. She truly cared for everyone she met and was loved by so many. She befriended many of the students she worked with at Drexel and stayed in contact with them over the years.

Emily is survived by her sons: John L. Czarnecki of Newtown Square, PA and Paul A. Cezanne and his wife, Susan of Keene, NH; daughter, Diane L. Miller and her husband, Stephen of Newark, DE and her five grandchildren: Jacob and Anastasia Czarnecki and Jacki, Alex and Tim Miller.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, 455 Bow St., Elkton, MD 21921, where family will receive friends in the Chapel beginning at 10am prior to the service. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150, at 3pm.
