Woke up this morning thinking of you Aunt Elsie! At first I started crying, because I was upset you were gone and they way you were taken was so not fair. How come its always the good people who get the short end of the stick in life? I remember a couple days before you passed, you held my hand so tightly and instead of being sad, in that moment I felt content. I knew you were going to a better place with Uncle Herman where you'd be much more happy. I just wish I could hug you atleast one more time or hear you tell me to 'Count to 10 and start again'. You've taught me so much, but most importantly made me a better human being. I'm so blessed to be able to say I'm your niece and I got to be a part of your journey in life. You taught me how to be level headed and kind, free spirited and open minded, and most importantly you always had my back in whatever I wanted to accomplish. You're my rock. I love you so much, and often think about what we'd be doing right now if you were here...probably 'yard sailing' or going to Turkey Point to go see the lighthouse, or maybe even just walking around Chesapeake to eat ice-cream. Those are the memories of you I will always love and cherish for the rest of my life. I'm one lucky girl to have had such a great influence in my life. I love you to the moon and back, Aunt Elsie. I'll see you, again!!!!!!!!!! Love always, and forever. -Kaitlyne
