Ella Mae Petty Truslow, age 79, departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, November 27, 2023 at her home, surrounded by the love of her husband and daughter.  Ella Mae was born May 28, 1944 in Fountain Green, Maryland to the late Charlie & Hattie Brackins Petty.

Ella Mae married the love of her life, Irving Benson (Benny) Truslow on July 21, 1962 to this union two children were born.  She loved being a wife and homemaker.

She professed a hope in Christ at the age of thirteen, was baptized, and joined New Bridge Regular Baptist Church.  Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life.  As Godly stewards, she and her husband were totally dedicated to maintaining and safeguarding the church which was built by her father.  She remained a faithful and devoted member of the Lord’s church and His people.

Ella Mae truly enjoyed traveling, cooking, and hosting gospel singings in her home.  She also attended various church gospel singings where she formed lasting friendships. Through the years Ella Mae opened her home to numerous friends from sister churches, her Christian light always shining.

She is survived by her adoring husband, her daughter Sharon Mayse and her husband Daryl, of Conowingo; her son Irving Truslow Jr and his wife Denise of Nottingham, PA.  She also leaves three grandchildren to mourn her passing, her very special grandson Brandon, her grandson, Caleb and granddaughter Kaitlyn and two great-grandchildren

God in His great wisdom decided it was her time to come home. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of her family and all who knew her.
