Elizandro Arce Sr. of Newark, DE, age 55, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Elizandro was born on August 15, 1965 in Lares, Puerto Rico to Antonio Arce Sr. and the late Santia Mercado.
Elizandro was a kind man and loved to help others. He was handy and enjoyed fixing things for people also. Elizandro will be lovingly remembered by his family as a great father and husband and especially enjoyed eating out at restaurants with them.
Elizandro is survived by his wife of 30 years, Maria Arce; son, John Arce of Newark, DE; son, Anthony Arce of Silver Spring, MD; son, Elizandro Arce Jr. of Newark, DE; grandson, Lorenzo; 4 sisters: Lucy Mercado, Norma Carde, Letitcia Arce, Tita Mercado; 3 brothers: Ralph Encarnacion, Omar Arce, Tony Arce.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Elizandro Arce, Sr. on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main Street, Newark, DE 19711 where family and friends may start visiting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held immediately after at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
