Elizabeth “Betsy” B. Cimabue

Elizabeth B. Cimabue, age 75, of Bear, DE, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. She was born on October 3, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Lynn Williamson and Elizabeth Williamson (Husted).

She was a devoted wife to her husband, Francis, a loving mother to her three children, Benjamin, Jeffrey, and Lauren, and a dedicated grandmother to her three grandchildren, Anthony, Isaiah, and Vincent. Elizabeth enjoyed being a seamstress and she made clothing for family and friends, including her own wedding dress. She loved to cook and enjoyed feeding her friends and family. You could find Elizabeth bowling in her younger years with friends or listening to her favorite band, The Beatles, as she was a huge fan. Elizabeth will be missed by all who knew her. “AND IN THE END the love you take IS EQUAL TO THE LOVE YOU MAKE” The Beatles. Peace and love.

Elizabeth is survived by children: Benjamin D. Cimabue and his wife Jamie of Odenton, MD, Jeffrey Cimabue of Wilmington, DE, and Lauren Cimabue of Bear, DE; grandchildren: Anthony Phillips, Jr., Isaiah Phillips, and Vincent Phillips; sisters: Carol Peters and Jayne Williamson; and brothers: Lynn Williamson II, and Tom Williamson. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded by her loving husband of 31 years, Francis V. Cimabue.
