Surrounded by loved ones, Elizabeth A. Jaquette, age 84, formerly of Elkton, MD passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare in Elkton, MD. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on October 24, 1928, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Walther) Jaquette.

Upon graduating from Elkton H.S., she worked at Libby’s Beauty Shop in Elkton until she started her own shop which she operated for many years. In her spare time, she loved gardening, and anything pertaining to crafts, especially knitting and crocheting. She loved her nieces and nephews who she treated as her own and will miss her dearly.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister Virginia Cullum and husband Clinton of Elkton, MD; a brother Donald Jaquette and wife Margaret of Elkton, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; a cousin Julia Busick, and pet poodle Jenny Lynn.

She is predeceased by her brothers Thomas and James Jaquette and her longtime companion Henry McMaster.

Service will be held 11AM on Monday, March 4, 2013 at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711. Friends and family may visit one hour prior starting at 10AM. Burial will follow at Sharps Cemetery in Elkton, MD.
