Edwin ‘Eddie’ Clarence Schneiders, 61, of Elkton Maryland, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
Eddie was born on May 24, 1960 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Clarence and Helen (Lively) Schneiders. He attended Immaculate Conception School, Saint Marks High School, and the University of Maryland where he studied Communications.
One of Eddie’s greatest passions was football. He took part in the Joe Namath football camp in Dudley, Massachusetts where he met the legend and his idol, Joe Namath. Eddie will be remembered for his infectious smile, communicating dynamically with passion and enthusiasm and his love of music, especially the Rolling Stones. He had an exceptional memory and loved to talk about yesteryear. Eddie held various jobs, from operating a taxi cab for his parents business to construction work with his brother-in-law and walking the sandy beaches of Daytona Beach Florida where he sold Hawaiian Tropic products.
Eddie is survived by his brother-in-law Robert Besante Sr., nieces Dawn (Kris) Wolf and Suzanne Besante, nephews Robert (Amy) Besante Jr., and Christopher (Linda) Deaver (Caregiver and where he resided). Additionally survived by great aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters Diana Besante and Judy (Mel) Deaver, and nephew Keith Deaver.
