Edward Besser, Jr., age 46, of Rising Sun, MD passed away at home suddenly on March 9, 2018. He was born November 29, 1971 in Baltimore, MD to Gail Mae Staggs and the late Edward Besser, Sr.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Rebecca Besser; sons, Eddie Besser III, Nickolas Besser, Brandon Michael Baier; daughter, Samantha Jean Baier; brothers, Johnny and Tony Sierra; and grandmother, Dolores Lightner. He is also survived by two grandsons; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, Eddie is preceded in death by step-father, Ronnie Staggs; and sister Gail Lynn Besser.
A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 1713 Liberty Grove Road, Colora, MD 21917. Family and friends may call starting at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to “John Hopkins Cardiovascular Research” and sent in care of the funeral home.
