Edmund John Succa, 69, of Oxford, PA, passed away at Ware Presbyterian Village on April 1, 2012.
Born in Staten Island, NY on January 23, 1943, Ed was the son of the late Joseph and Dolores Succa. Before moving to Oxford, Ed was living in Elkton, MD. He worked as a salesman in hardware and was an avid golfer and sports fan, especially Little League.
He is survived by his sons, Carl Succa of Lewisberry, PA, Kenneth Succa of Camp Hill, PA and Thomas Succa and his wife Kathi of Mechanicsburg, PA; 7 grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Trevor and Austin Succa, and Chad, Ryan and Christopher Gelbaugh; a great grandchild, Alaina Gelbaugh; two brothers, John Succa of Mechanicsburg, PA and Roy Succa of Jacksonville, FL; his stepmother, Betty Lou Succa and his soulmate and companion Agnes Poore of Elkton.
A service celebrating his life will be held at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921 on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at the funeral home beginning at 1:00. Burial will be private.
