Edith Killian, age 89, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Elkton Care and Rehabilitation. She was born on May 16, 1922 to the late Hervey and Caroline Congleton.
Edith is survived by sons, Kenneth Charles Killian of Elkton, MD and David Allen Killian of Wilmington, DE; daughter, Edith Elaine Fletcher of Elkton, MD; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert James Killian and her son, James Robert Killian.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A. (formerly Gee Funeral Home), 259 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, where friends and family may call one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be made to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, c/o the funeral home.
